This model is essentially the same as Capex model, with the only difference that the term loan required for setting up the Project is arranged by us in partnership with NBFC Companies. The term loan is repaid from the electricity bill savings. The tenure of these loans range from 5 to 6 years, or more, depending on the size of the Project. The advantage here is that the end user needs to invest only 25 to 30% of the project cost as equity, and the rest is funded by the lending partner. The monthly EMIs are totally serviced from the electricity savings, and thus the real cash outflow for the end user is only limited to their equity investment. Once the term loan is repaid, the entire electricity bill savings accrue to the end user.
